Tradir Guesthouse
In our Guesthouse we have 6 rooms with double bed and 2 rooms with bunkbed You can order sleeping bag accommodation or ready made beds. There is a cafe/restaurant in the house which is open all day and we serve breakfast, hot soup with homemade bred at lunch time and you can order dinner, which is traditional home made dinner.

Camping place will be ready summer 2016
The camping place located by the beach with great views of Löngufjörur. Facilites at the camping grounds include coal grills for barbequieng and separate toilets for women and men. Breakfast can be ordered at the coffee house(cafeteria, restaurant, bistro). Dogs are welcome but must be kept in leash at all times.
A selection of riding tours and a top trout fishing river located 5 minutes walk from the camp site rounds out the menu. We recommend that you order your fishing permits in advance.
Sleeping bag accommodation with access to kitchen facilities is also available.
Finally, for the travelers who value comfort over budget traveling, we have bed and breakfast option.

Many places of interest are found in the surrounding area to enhance your stay at Traðir. Among these are a golf course, situated just 7 km away, and Selalátur, a popular place for seals and their cubs.
Staðarstaður, a church, is Traðir’s neighbor, once home to the famous poet Ari Þorgilsson Fróði who lived there in 12. century. The graveyard has a unique french section Franskireitur, where almost 40 french sailors were buried in 1870. They drowned when 6 french schooners sank just outside Staðarsveit, drowning over 100 sailors.
The current church was built of stone during the years 1942-1945. In this church you´ll find famous art works by Tryggva Ólafsson og Leif Breiðfjörð.
Last but not least is the Snæfellsjökull national park, which is nearby with its awe-inspiring nature, including the Snæfells glacier and the Arnarstaðir ocean cliffs tow mention just two of the many nature sights as well as many interesting historical sites.
